SCARE ACTORS WANTED - HauntFest

APPLY NOW to join the Scaracter Skeleton Crew for any of HauntFest’s upcoming events! Ghouls will do festival scares and be part of the haunt (if applicable).

Description: Scuttle around in full costume to spook the guests. Jump scares are welcome, but do not be physically violent. Do not touch patrons unless it is as mundane as a tap on the shoulder. Do not scare or bother people who obviously are bothered (in not a fun way). Please adhere to the glowstick rules. For some venues, there will be a haunted trail or haunted house to spook in later at night as well. There are currently haunted attractions pending (but in motion) for all of our upcoming events.

Volunteers get EXTRA perks, such as free full weekend tickets, access to the Volunteer tent with free snacks/drinks, deals on merch, and more! Becoming part of the HauntFest family is more than a side hustle — we’re our own community, and there are tons of awesome people to meet and befriend. We are a wide variety of ages and personalities, all coming together for one common reason: FUN!

Scaracters apply separately for each event, so make sure to apply for whichever event(s) you might be interested in joining! There will also be a Meet and Greet night prior to the first event day, where HauntFest invites all scaracters, vendors, staff, entertainers, and whoever they would like to bring along, to have an opportunity to get to know each other in a low-stress environment before the madness of the weekend.
