Death March - What to Expect

GUESS WHAT?!

HauntFest Death March 2026 is THIS WEEKEND!! If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, now is the time! See below for Saturday’s and Sunday’s SICK event schedules, along with activities that will be going on all weekend long!

On Saturday, March 7th, enter into a world of frights and fun starting at 2 PM at TrimTab Brewing Company in Birmingham, AL. Enjoy UNLIMITED HAUNTED LASER TAG, and peruse a market of 30+ vendors from 2 PM - 10 PM (click HERE for vendor map), including vendors offering things like spooky caricatures, personalized pumpkin dolls, original horror literature, free plastic pumpkin painting, fine arts, horror character coasters, themed jewelry, psychic & tarot readings, tattoos & piercings, face paintings, temporary tattoos, and more! There will also be food and drink available, such as hot dogs, Filipino street food, and, of course, BEER! To see the full vendor list, click HERE. At 4:00 PM, check in on the B-Side, where one of our wonderful, sponsored bands, Oh.Pake, will be making their HauntFest debut. At 5:00 PM, Happycore Entertainment (another sponsor, AND HauntFest vendor) will be performing, followed by the Release of the Ghouls at 6:00 PM. At this time, the event will be bumped up a notch, as our monsters will be free to roam the festival! Parents be advised. Ghoul-gone glow bracelets will be offered at the door for any fraidy-cats out there…

At 6:30 PM, HauntFest’s macabre host, Lady Death, will be reading some Edgar Allan Poe excerpts in the taproom, with Terror Trivia commencing shortly after. Teams of up to 6 are encouraged to join in on this game of horror knowledge, from movies to haunted places to serial killers! Saturday’s headliner, Fents, will begin their performance at 8:00 PM, and at 9:00 PM, doors will open for anyone who is attending the DANCE PARTY ONLY. Any attendees who purchased a general admission festival ticket is free to stay the entire duration! To see bios and more information about the Death March lineup, click HERE.

At 9:30 PM, Lady Death will call up anyone who would like to compete in the HauntFest costume contest. Yes, costumes are highly encouraged at HauntFest events, and there is a wristband color code to be able to discriminate between actors and attendees! At this time, we will also be calling out the winners of the HauntFest raffle, where we will be raffling off a basket of HauntFest gear, plus donations from our generous vendors. To enter the raffle, you simply have to complete the vendor scavenger hunt, which is offered at the door! You can gain additional raffle tickets by completing other HauntFest scavenger hunts at the HauntFest merch booth.

Finally, from 10 PM to midnight, HauntFest invites all to attend the Dead Man’s Party! Costumes are highly encouraged, and the event is suggested for ages 18+. Grab a beer and monster mash the night away in the B-Side to spooky tunes! Feel free to make requests.

On Sunday, you can enjoy similar activities as on Saturday, such as the artist market from 2 PM - 8 PM, unlimited haunted laser tag, roaming scare actors, and more. At 3:00 PM, enter the taproom for ghost stories by our sponsor/vendor/entertainer, Happycore Entertainment, followed by an earlier costume contest at 3:30 PM. At 4:00 PM, come into the B-Side for a PUPPET SHOW by Puppet Pants Productions, and stay for a musical performance by Sam and the Big Boys at 5:00 PM. At 6:00 PM, get prepared for the Release of the Ghouls, and at 6:15 PM, lock in for a thrilling FREAK SHOW performance by our sponsor, Unkledaddie’s Carnevil Circus! At 7:00 PM, sign up for our final Terror Trivia, and make sure to have your Scavenger Hunts in for the raffle!
